- 1/4 cup grated cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce or 1 small grated apple (seeds removed)
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon water (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine whole wheat flour, grated cheddar cheese, applesauce or grated apple, and egg. Mix until a dough forms. If too dry, add a tablespoon of water.
- Place dough on a lightly floured surface and roll it out to about 1/4-inch thickness.
- Use a cookie cutter to cut dough into desired shapes.
- Arrange cut-out shapes on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until biscuits turn golden brown.
- Let biscuits cool completely before serving to your dog.
