- 1 cup plain, unsweetened yogurt (Greek yogurt for thicker consistency)
- 1 tablespoon honey (optional, ensure your dog is not sensitive)
- 1/4 cup water (to adjust consistency)
Instructions
- Wash the apple thoroughly and remove the core and seeds.
- Cut the apple into small chunks.
- In a blender or food processor, combine apple chunks, yogurt, honey (if using), and water. Blend until smooth.
- Pour the mixture into silicone molds or an ice cube tray.
- Place the filled molds in the freezer for at least 4 hours or until fully frozen.
- Pop the frozen treats out of the molds and serve them to your dog.
Notes
- If your dog is lactose intolerant, use lactose-free yogurt or a dog-friendly alternative like coconut yogurt.
- You can add blueberries or peanut butter to the mixture for added flavor and nutrients.
- Store the treats in an airtight container in the freezer for up to two months.
