Ingredients
Scale
- 1 ripe banana, mashed
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 ½ cups rolled oats
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the mashed banana and honey.
- Add the rolled oats, whole wheat flour, and cinnamon (if using). Stir until a dough forms. If the dough is too sticky, add more flour as needed.
- Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface to about ¼-inch thickness. Use cookie cutters to create shapes or cut into squares.
- Place the biscuits on the baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Let the biscuits cool completely before serving. Store in an airtight container.
Notes
- Feel free to substitute whole wheat flour with rice flour or almond flour if your dog has a wheat allergy.
- For extra crunch, leave the biscuits in the oven with the heat turned off until they cool down.
- These biscuits can be stored at room temperature for up to two weeks, in the fridge for a month, or frozen for up to three months.
