- 1 medium apple (chopped, seeds and core removed)
- 2 medium carrots (chopped into small cubes)
- ½ cup frozen or fresh peas
- 1 tbsp coconut oil (optional)
- ½ cup water or low-sodium bone broth
Instructions
- Heat a pan over medium heat and cook the ground beef until fully browned. Drain excess fat if necessary.
- Add the chopped carrots to the pan and cook for about 5 minutes until they begin to soften.
- Stir in the chopped apple and peas, cooking for another 3-4 minutes.
- Pour in water or low-sodium bone broth and let simmer for 3-5 minutes until most of the liquid is absorbed.
- If using, stir in coconut oil while the mixture is still warm.
- Remove from heat and allow the meal to cool completely before serving.
