Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb (450 g) lean ground beef (cooked, drained of excess fat)
  • 1 cup (100 g) rolled oats (cooked and cooled)
  • 1/2 cup (60 g) grated carrots (fresh)
  • 1/4 cup (40 g) chopped green beans (steamed)
  • 1 egg (lightly beaten)
  • 1 tbsp (15 ml) olive oil (for healthy fats)

  3. Cook rolled oats in water as directed, then let cool completely.
  4. In a large bowl, combine cooked beef, oats, grated carrots, green beans, beaten egg, and olive oil.
  5. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are well incorporated.
  6. Transfer the mixture onto parchment paper and shape into a log or divide into molds.
