Instructions
- Cook the rice according to package instructions. Set aside to cool.
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat, breaking it into small pieces. Drain excess fat.
- Prepare the green beans by cutting fresh beans into bite-sized pieces or thawing frozen ones. Rinse canned beans to remove sodium.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked rice, browned beef, and green beans. Add shredded carrots and olive oil if using, and mix well.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a casserole dish and spread the mixture evenly.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until warmed through. Let cool completely before serving.
