- 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt (unsweetened, free of artificial sweeteners)
- 1/4 cup fresh blueberries (washed)
- 1/4 cup fresh strawberries (washed and hulled)
Instructions
- In a blender or food processor, combine Greek yogurt, blueberries, and strawberries.
- Blend until smooth, or pulse for a chunkier texture.
- Pour the mixture into bone-shaped silicone molds or any dog-friendly shape.
- Tap the molds gently on the counter to remove air bubbles.
- Freeze for at least 3-4 hours, or until fully set.
- Pop the frozen bones out of the molds and serve as a cooling treat for your dog.
Notes
- If your dog is lactose-intolerant, substitute Greek yogurt with unsweetened coconut yogurt.
- Let the treat thaw for a couple of minutes if your dog has trouble chewing frozen treats.
- Store in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 2 months.
- Adjust serving size based on your dog’s size and dietary needs.
- For added flavor, mix in a teaspoon of homemade peanut butter.
