Description

These Blueberry & Coconut Frozen Balls are a light, refreshing snack perfect for you and your dog! Packed with antioxidants from the blueberries and healthy fats from the coconut, these no-bake treats are as nutritious as they are delicious. Plus, they’re super simple to make—just blend, roll, and freeze! Perfect for hot days or a post-workout pick-me-up.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened shredded coconut (plus extra for coating)
  • 1/2 cup almond flour
  • 2 tablespoons coconut oil (melted)
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup or honey (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. In a blender or food processor, combine the blueberries, almond flour, coconut oil, vanilla extract, and salt. Blend until smooth but leave small pieces of blueberries intact.
  2. Using a cookie scoop or spoon, form the mixture into small balls.
  3. Roll each ball in shredded coconut to fully coat them.
  4. Place the balls on a parchment-lined tray and freeze for 1-2 hours or until firm.
  5. Once frozen, enjoy straight from the freezer or let them soften slightly at room temperature before eating!

Notes

  • If the mixture feels too sticky to form balls, chill it in the fridge for 15-20 minutes to firm up.
  • You can substitute oat flour for almond flour for a nut-free option.
  • Store in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 2 weeks.
