Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup plain, unsweetened yogurt
- 1/2 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
- 1 tablespoon honey (optional)
Instructions
- Puree the blueberries in a blender or food processor until smooth, leaving some chunks if desired.
- In a separate bowl, stir the plain yogurt to make it smooth and creamy. Mix in the honey if using.
- Add a small amount of the blueberry puree into the paw pads of silicone molds for a decorative touch.
- Pour the yogurt mixture into the molds over the blueberry layer, filling them to the top.
- Place the molds in the freezer for at least 4 hours, or until the treats are completely frozen.
- Once frozen, pop the treats out of the molds and store them in an airtight container in the freezer.
Notes
- Ensure the yogurt is plain and unsweetened, without any artificial sweeteners like xylitol, which is toxic to dogs.
- Serve in moderation, keeping your dog’s size in mind to avoid overfeeding.
- Store in the freezer for up to 3 months for freshness.
- You can substitute blueberries with other dog-safe fruits like strawberries or pumpkin puree.
