Ingredients

  • 2 ripe bananas (mashed)
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened peanut butter (xylitol-free)
  • 1/4 cup plain yogurt (optional)

Instructions

  1. Peel and mash the bananas in a mixing bowl.
  2. Add the peanut butter and yogurt (if using) to the mashed bananas, and stir until smooth and creamy.
  3. Spoon the mixture into silicone molds or an ice cube tray.
  4. Freeze the molds for 2-3 hours or until the treats are completely frozen.
  5. Pop the treats out of the molds and serve to your dog as a refreshing snack.

Notes

  • Use unsweetened peanut butter that does not contain xylitol, as it is toxic to dogs.
  • You can leave out the yogurt if your dog is sensitive to dairy.
  • For added variety, mix in a few blueberries or a sprinkle of flaxseeds.
