- 1 lb ground turkey
- ½ cup dried unsweetened cranberries, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon coconut flour
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon olive oil (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey, finely chopped cranberries, coconut flour, and egg. Mix until all ingredients are evenly incorporated. If the mixture feels too dry, add the olive oil.
- Roll the mixture into small, bite-sized logs or shapes and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the chews are firm and cooked through. The turkey should be fully cooked.
- Let the chews cool completely before serving them to your pup.
Notes
- Store chews in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 7 days.
- For longer storage, freeze chews in a freezer-safe container or bag for up to 3 months.
- Reduce baking time by 5 minutes for softer chews or bake longer for a crunchier texture.
- Substitute blueberries for cranberries if desired.
