- 1 pound ground turkey
- 1/2 cup pumpkin purée (not pumpkin pie filling)
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1/4 cup carrots, grated
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
- 1/4 teaspoon dried parsley (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, pumpkin purée, rolled oats, grated carrots, beaten egg, and optional garlic powder and parsley. Mix until well combined.
- Scoop out small portions of the mixture and roll them into golf ball-sized balls, placing them on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the balls are cooked through and golden.
- Allow the turkey & pumpkin balls to cool completely before serving to your dog.
Notes
- Storage: Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. These treats can also be frozen for longer storage—simply thaw before serving.
- Size Adjustment: Adjust the size of the balls based on your dog’s needs. For smaller dogs, make smaller-sized treats.
